I build stuff.
I build commercial structures, and have spent most of my life as a homebuilder and remodeler. I’ve built communities, and churches, restaurants, and gas stations, car dealerships, and doctor’s offices. I’ve rebuilt historic buildings. I’ve built for a president, and for subsistence farmers. I’ve built in several countries. I’ve built theatrical scenery, furniture, and movie sets. I build crazy quirky low budget racecars. I’ve built businesses, a home and a family.
This site is a place for me to gather together some of the things I’ve built, share stories and ideas I’ve learned along the way, and celebrate the gifted people I’ve met who build stuff too. I love creative ideas and solutions, and hope you find some interesting ideas here, and that you will share even better ones. But most of all, I want to inspire you to jump in yourself, and go build something!
